Q: Is CSM capable of doing the CDS-MH statistical and MIS Financial reporting to the Ministry under the new guidelines?
CSM collects all CDS-MH data and reports the statistics in a number of internal and Ministry formats (including ACTT format showing cohort breakdown). CSM requires a minimum of data input to maintain your accurate reporting data (i.e. enter only changes to the various stati for clients). It automatically processes the data on file and generates accurate Ministry reports at the click of a button.
CSM provides the statistical data required to complete the MIS Financial report to the Ministry. It provides the number Group interactions as well as Unique and Non-unique individuals served, including service hours.
Q: How is CSM different from the PSR Toolkit?
The PSR Toolkit was designed to collect demographic data and PSR domain information. CSM collects this information and much more. It collects detailed historical data that supports CDS-MH statistical reporting as well as all staff activities and client interactions. A complete and detailed history is stored for each client, staff, and program. CSM manages groups of clients and staff members and collects all group activities and history in detail. CSM also collects and reports referral information and host of other information regarding employees, programs, clients, etc should you wish to do so.
Q: How many users does CSM support?
CSM supports a virtually unlimited number of users. By design, it was intended for use by larger enterprise-level organizations with many simultaneous local and remote users (e.g. outer offices, group homes, etc.). CSM has been tuned to minimize network activity and can remotely accessed over a modem or over the Internet in an encrypted VPN session.
Because CSM employs Microsoft SQL Server to store its data and Microsoft Terminal Services to share the application, its performance and storage capacity is limited only by server RAM and CPU speed.
CSM is a complete mission-critical database solution for Community Mental Health Organizations with any number of users.
Q: How dependable is CSM?
Users depend on CSM for their business daily operations and, therefore, CSM runs on a fault tolerant server(s) with redundant hard drives (RAID) and on which daily backups are performed. The Microsoft SQL database is configured in such a way that, in the event of a major failure, your data can be recovered to any point in time in the past.
Q: Is Client Services Manager user-friendly?
CSM was designed to be easy to use. It has the same look and feel as most Windows applications. This means that the menu, screen controls and Wizards will be familiar even to novice computer users.
Throughout the application, Wizards and context sensitive help guide the user during data input.
Q: What is involved in the implementation/installation of CSM?
Implementation of CSM involves one or more meetings to determine how your business and program objects will best map to CSM objects. We then convert your existing data, setup your database and install CSM. Then you are then ready to go.
Users are trained in groups starting with the most computer literate. In no time, your organization is collecting and reporting the data you only previously dreamed about.
Q: We are currently using the PSR Toolkit. Can we migrate to CSM without having to re-key all of the information we have entered already?
Yes. We can and will import your existing PSR Toolkit data directly into Client Services Manager. All of your data will be preserved, and you may continue to record new data with the expanded functionality of CSM. As well, depending on what other data you are collecting, we may be able to import that data into CSM at no additional charge as well.
Q: How much does CSM cost?
The cost to license CSM is based on a number of factors, predominantly the number of users and the level of support required. We are happy to quote an exact figure for you after some discussion.
CSM is affordable to any size organization regardless of its budget.
Q: If we license CSM, how much training do we need, or get?
As much as you need! NaszTech is committed to delivering a “whole product” solution to its customers. We will help you decide on the reference data that will form the basis for the data collection of your organization and will train all your staff in the management of CSM data.
After deployment, NaszTech will continue to support your users as necessary indefinitely.
Q: How much technical support is available for CSM?
Licensing CSM automatically entitles you to unlimited technical support.
As well, CSM has extensive context sensitive on-line help. All of the applications screens and dialogues have Help buttons on them. Each of those buttons launch help in your favorite web browser that is specific to the function you are about to perform.
Q: How will CSM stay current with the Ministry reporting changes?
Client Services Manager is continually updated and enhanced to meet ever changing Ministry data collection and reporting requirements and initiatives. As well, you can expect CSM to be continually updated to include new reports and enhanced functionality.
Regardless of the driving force behind the updates, CSM will always remain reliable and easy to use.
Q: Will CSM work on Windows XP or Windows 2003?
CSM is fully certified and extensively tested to run on Windows 2000, XP and 2003 and SQL Server 2000. CSM is best deployed in Windows Terminal Services from which it can be accessed in a Terminal Session over your LAN, or securely in a VPN session over the Internet.
Q: Can CSM be modified to add functionality or reports that I would like?
Yes. Although CSM is has a rich report and feature set and is not likely to need significant modification, if you do require additional reports or functionality we would be happy to discuss your needs further and make the changes as necessary.
